By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the site. Formal audit, review, or advisory work begins only when both parties sign a letter of engagement; website content does not create an auditor–client relationship by itself.

Services described

Descriptions of statutory audits, interim reviews, control assessments, and related work are informational. Scope, fees, and deliverables for a particular client are set only in a signed engagement letter.

Intellectual property

Text, layout, and graphics on this site belong to Ledger Strand Audit Office or its licensors. You may not copy substantive content for commercial reuse without written permission. Working papers and reports produced under an engagement remain subject to the engagement letter and applicable professional standards.

Liability

We take care to keep website information accurate, yet we do not warrant that every page is complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, Ledger Strand Audit Office is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of website content. Liability arising from a signed engagement is governed by that engagement letter and applicable law.

Professional independence

Independence and conflict rules may prevent us from accepting certain engagements. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Courts with jurisdiction in 鳥取県, Japan, shall hear disputes arising from website use, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
